Daksh Kesar of St. Xavier Convent School, Barnai Shines at National Championship

In the Arnis National Championship 2023-24 held in the historic city of Kurukshetra, Haryana held from 13th to 15th January, Daksh Kesar of St Xavier Convent school showed exceptional skill and dedication and bagged the prestigious gold medal in the under 14 category making J&K, his school & family proud by his outstanding performance. The championship has presented a platform to Daksh to show his prowess in the upcoming traditional Filipino martial arts of Arnis. Being the winner, he will now have the honour of representing India at the 17th WEKAF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, a global event which is scheduled to take place in Cebu, Philippines, July 21st to 28th,2024.

The school feels proud and extends heartfelt congratulations to Daksh and looks forward to him making his mark on the global stage in the upcoming international WEKAF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.

Meanwhile the school also congratulates Xaverian national players for exhibiting talent in various other events - Khushi Rajput in Discus Throw in the Under 14 category, Vidhi Jakhotrq in Pencak- Silat in the Under 14 category and Saransh Panotra in Rhythmic Yoga in the Under 17 category.
